Totally beautiful, completely enveloping pastures of sound. Drone music made with a mix of strange instruments (Srutti Box, Singing Bowl, Farfisa, Bulbul Tarang), harmonium, acoustic guitar, analog synthesiser (Juno 106) and delay pedals.
Check out a track here. It's not the best track though. Either 'Duel Ravens' or 'Guinevere of the Ganges' wins that. Oh just buy it.
Definitely the best of Stephen O'Malley's Ginnungagap releases so far, although the other stuff is great also. Talking of SOMA, I'm currently waiting for Sunn O)))'s 'Black One' to arrive in the mail... looking forward to it!
